PROCESS WORK
This project began with research into a topic to illustrate. I was captivated by the idea of long-term human space exploration, thus I began reading papers about research determining if plants could be grown in space as a food and oxygen source.
I then proposed this project to Stuart Jantzen along with thumbnails that playfully described this research through visual and written metaphor: something that would quickly engage potential viewers of the journal cover and prompt them to read more.
